Providing a safe and healthy workplace is an integral aspect of Bodine’s operations. The safety of Bodine employees is a company priority that extends to every level throughout the organization. By making awareness and prevention of occupational injuries and illnesses a company priority, we create a workplace that is conducive to growth and prosperity and strengthens our ability to be competitive.
Literally nothing at Bodine is taken more seriously or held as a greater priority than the health and safety of our employees and other persons working with and around us. Workplace safety begins with the leadership and commitment of management, willing involvement of employees and a well thought out and tested program that operates under a “continuous improvement” philosophy. Many years ago Bodine made a commitment to staff the safety department with the best and brightest, and today at least eight full time safety professionals are dedicated to this critical area.
The Bodine safety team is an integral part of the operations group who on a daily basis is working hard to deliver superior performance for hundreds of Bodine customers. Our safety professionals are out on the job sites conducting audits and working with our crews to insure that any and all potential hazards that can be identified are recognized and mitigated. When not in the field, the safety team at Bodine is conducting training sessions, presenting topics at weekly safety meetings and managing the compliance requirements of Bodine policies and local, state and national agencies. The recent addition of electronic tablets allow the Bodine safety professionals to conduct real-time site assessments and almost instantly communicate conditions and findings to management throughout the organization. This affords the opportunity to share information quickly and address issues immediately.
Employee safety is of the highest priority above all else. Work that cannot safely be done will not be done at all.
