Annual Safety Incentive Program

Bodine is committed to a safe and productive work environment. In an effort to enhance and recognize safety performance, eligible employees have the potential to be rewarded based on the safety performance of their division.

Annual Award Distribution

Bodine will annually reward eligible employees for safe behavior. Eligible employees are those who have a hire date of no later than October 31 and who are still employed with Bodine on December 31 of that year. Management, Clerical Staff and Safety personnel are not eligible for this award.

At the beginning of the calendar year, a monetary pool will be earmarked for the annual award program. This amount will be determined based on availability and may vary from year to year.

If there are no OSHA Recordable injuries by the last day of the year, the entire sum of the monetary pool will be evenly distributed to all eligible employees. If there is one OSHA recordable injury (as defined by 29 CFR 1904) by the end of the year, fifty percent of the earmarked sum will be distributed to all eligible employees. If there are two OSHA recordable injuries by the last day of the year, twenty-five percent of the earmarked sum will be distributed to all eligible employees. A third OSHA recordable injury within the calendar year will disqualify all employees from the annual award.
